'Down-Under Software'
(An Australian Made Programme)
This programme is PostCard Ware, that is, you are free to use, copy,
handout, giveaway, distribute, (for other synonyms consult a Thesauraus),
this small piece of software to whoever you like as long as there is no charge
for the file. You are, however, permitted to charge a minimal fee for copying,
(PD libraries only).
This programme was originally written to replace the COLDBOOT programme that
comes with the ICD™ interface. The original COLDBOOT is 3352 bytes long
whereas REBOOT is only 190 bytes in total and does the same job.
Simply copy the programme to your AUTO folder on drive A: ensuring it is the
ONLY programme to be in this folder. If your Hard-Disk fails to boot REBOOT
will keep on rebooting your computer until your HD comes on line. This allows
you to turn on both your computer and hard-disk at the same time.
REBOOT is written in assembly and is my first effort at releasing a
programme. It appears to be bug free, (with only 190 bytes there's not
much room for bugs), but I will not be responsible if your 1.2 Gig HD turns
into a C-15 cassette or any other damage occurs to your computer, as with
all PD software the risks are all yours.
Like I said before REBOOT is PostCard Ware, that means you send me a
PostCard of where you live to the address shown at the end of this Textfile
and write a little info about your town/city on the card and the name of
the programme that you are using, (REBOOTV1),(Don't forget the stamp).
Why PostCard Ware? Because (a) The programme is not big enough to be
ShareWare and (b) I'm a stamp collector and what better way to get
new and interesting stamps.
Send your PostCards to:
